rob and i had the first-ever Wheat Thins Classic on the way home from class. we were driving alongside one another, since we’d left school at the same time and were headed in the same direction. rob was eating wheat thins from the box he keeps in his car, and he was throwing them into my open window at red lights. wheat thins are quite aerodynamic, actually, being relatively dense and, well, thin. i was trying to catch them as they flew at me, but rob kept missing and hitting my door, and i couldn’t catch the ones that made it into my car. rob’s car was in front of mine at the last red light, and i opened my sunroof and put my hands up, ready to catch any that he would throw backwards. the light turned green and he sped away, tossing a huge handful of crackers high into the air. they missed my car completely. i’m not sure who won, but i think it was rob since he actually got to eat wheat thins, whereas i just got pelted with them.
a waste of wheat thins? i don’t think so.
