tonight on the way home from work i saw a shopping cart on fire.  a small crowd of people (the culprits, i assume) stood and watched it burn near the curb.  tiny streamers of molten grey plastic stretched from the cart’s metal frame to the ground.  the tires were gone.  the pictures i took didn’t come out.
