how nice it is to work at a restaurant where the owners rent a beach house for the employees over labor day weekend. there was drinking and dancing and swimming and, quite unexpectedly, an impromptu blues band. i took this photo in the car on the way there. it's a pretty common sight in and around houston, all the chemical plants dumping god-knows-what into the ocean. let's go to the beach!
