after the ferry ride, we drove down the beach in veronica's car and jonathan tried to convince her to drive into the ocean and around a fence so we could visit a bird sanctuary. needless to say we didn't do that, but veronica found a fish skeleton completely intact, which she put in her trunk even though it smelled like death. you don't want to see pictures of that, do you?
