I forgot to tell you that on Saturday my friends and I were at a restaurant a few tables away from a couple who thought that The Onion was a real paper, and consequently, that this actually occurred. It was simultaneously funny and depressing.
A Halloween-party photo booth!
On the way home from work on Thursday, I thought about how I wanted to get pictures of everyone in their costumes at Friday night’s Halloween party. Then I thought about how I have a camera and a tripod and a remote. Then I thought, people can just take pictures of themselves!
So I set up a backdrop and a bunch of lights in Abbe’s garage, put some instructions on the wall, and left the remote for anyone who wanted to photograph themselves. When you combine a keg of beer with Halloween costumes, a LOT of people want to photograph themselves.
